Mary Jane’s Closet sits on the ocean side of US-1 at Mile Marker 24, about thirty minutes up the road from Key West. Glassware, plateware, local art and ceramics, Keys publications, fishing shirts and Square Grouper swag — and a good deal more besides.
The Morning Joint coffee shop adjoins us, so there is no need to rush. Grab a mocha, have a wander, and take your time over the shelves.
The Keys are full of creatives of all stripes, and a good part of the shop is given over to them — art, jewellery, ceramics, books and one-of-a-kind pieces you will not find anywhere else.
Much of it arrives in small numbers and only once. When something sells out, it is often genuinely gone.
